The carp pond at Camping La Herelle
Our pond is specially designed for carp and sturgeon fishing. The fishing stations are designed to offer optimal comfort to anglers. Please note that the stations are not accessible by car; trolleys are available at the entrance to transport your equipment.
We offer different packages tailored to your needs :
• Pole fishing, english or feeder:
o Half day (7:30am - 1pm or 1:30pm - 7pm): 10 euros
o Full day (7:30am - 7pm): 15 euros
o 24-hour session (from noon to noon): 20 euros.
• Battery fishing (3 rods allowed) :
o 24 hours: 25 euros*
o 48 hours: 45 euros
o 72 hours: 60 euros
o 96 hours: 80 euros
o 120 hours: 100 euros
o 144 hours: 120 euros
o 168 hours: 140 euros.
For any reservation longer than 48 hours, a 40% deposit will be required.
*One night excluding weekends, except last minute, weekend = Friday 12 p.m. to Sunday 12 p.m.
To preserve the quality of our site and ensure the well-being of the fish, we ask you to respect the following rules:
• Respect for fish: all fish must be returned to the water alive, carefully and as quickly as possible. Avoid exposing them to the sun. Photos must be taken from your knees, above the landing mat. Any failure to do so will result in immediate exclusion without refund.
• Poly pole fishing: o Maximum rod length: 13 meters (one rod per angler).
o Barbless hook required, maximum size no. 8.
o Mandatory use of a landing net and landing mat.
o Keepnets and braid prohibited.
• Match or Feeder fishing:
o Barbless hook required, maximum size no. 8.
o Landing net and landing mat required.
o Keepnet and braid prohibited.
• Battery fishing:
o Three rods per angler, 1 angler per position (in case of absence, the rods must be raised).
o Single, barbless hook.
o Wet landing mat required.
o Large, fine-mesh landing net required.
o Use of lead core and braid at the bottom of the line limited to 30 cm.
o Assembly with lead loss required.
o Bait boat, rowboat, float tube and drone prohibited.
o Tents and bivvies of neutral color, in harmony with the environment.
o Sound level of detectors lowered after 10 p.m. to respect the peace and quiet of other anglers and campers.
We offer private trout fishing trips. You can book a trip and choose the number of trout you want to release. A fun and friendly day to share.
